Hi! I am Tomeka L Howell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing mental wellness therapy to families, couples and individuals, clinical supervision and coaching from the state of Georgia.
My goal is to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. I will help you increase self awareness, resolve conflict with compassion and learn to communicate insightfully.
I work with families, couples, teens within the family system and individuals experiencing anger, anxiety, depression, IPV, sadness, stress, spiritual questioning.
I use an integrative approach from evidence based interventions:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, African-centered Spirituality, Attachment Based Therapy, Biblical principles, Buddhist-based chanting prompts, Choosing Peace [Women], Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Couple Therapy [I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work], Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Single Session Brief Therapy
